Michael “Mike” P. Card, 39, of Rock Island, Illinois; passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospital. Per his request, cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date
Mike was born on November 25, 1985 in New York to Elmeda Lowe. Despite many difficulties, Mike always managed to find the best in every situation. He worked as a CNC Machinist and welder for many years. Mike enjoyed working on cars, fixing and riding motorcycles, going fishing, and bowling. He loved his friends and family; but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son, step-children, and fiancé of 12 years, Rhiannon.
Those left to honor his memory are his son Jacob; mother Elmeda Easton; fiancé Rhiannon; step-children Kaiden, Kaitlyn, and Mason; his Aunt Barb (Dale); his Uncle Richard; and his sister Michelle.
He was preceded in death by his step-father Keith Easton and his grandfather Phil Card.
