Naomi L. Banks

Naomi L. Banks, 88, of Davenport, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Genesis West. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 1:00 pm at The Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 am until the service.Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the family. Naomi was born March 30, 1922 in Blue Diamond, KY, the daughter of Charles and Sarah E. (Ault) Graham. She was united in marriage to Bayless Banks on January 4, 1942 in Clinchmoore, TN; he preceded her in death on September 9, 1996. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a tool & dye maker for Evertype Manufacturing.

Those left to honor her memory include her children: Kenneth (Connie) Banks and Dianna Cornett, both of Davenport, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, niece and nephews including a special niece, Mary Liske, Davenport.

Her parents, grandchildren, Randy Cornett and Sarah Banks; brothers: Bill, Harry, Carl, Henry, Lewis and Fred; sisters, Clara Hatmaker and Opal Phillips preceded her in death.
