Patricia "Pat" Ann Grim

Patricia “Pat” Grim, 90, of Davenport, Iowa passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at the Kahl Home with her beloved granddaughters by her side. Private services will be held at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in Pat’s name may be made to the family.

Pat was born on December 17, 1934 in Muscatine, Iowa to Harold and Susie Greenwald. She was united in marriage to Donald Grim on May 12, 1957 in Muscatine, Iowa; he passed away in 1997. Early in their marriage, Pat would attend Don’s band performances and they would often go dancing after the shows. Pat loved to play Bridge, read Danielle Steel’s latest books, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She loved watching The University of Iowa Men’s Basketball season and could also be found following the Chicago Bulls emphatically. She completed the crossword puzzle daily and spent many years as a bingo enthusiast. Above all else; Pat loved to spend time with her family.

Those left to honor Pat’s memory are her daughter-in-law Diane Nelson; granddaughters Rachel (Shaun) Staron and Megan (Rodney) Hutchins; and great-grandchildren Claire & Nolan Staron, Carter and Cameron Hutchins; along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Donald; her parents Harold and Susie; son Jeff; and six siblings: William Greenwald, Harold Greenwald, Neil Greenwald, Wayne Greenwald, Virginia Bluhm and Evelyn Davis.
