Patricia L. Thompson, 87, of Davenport Iowa passed away on September 29, 2025. Funeral services will be held at the Runge Mortuary on October 3, 2025, at 2 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Humane Society of Scott County. Pat was born on March 21, 1938, in Moline Illinois to Raymond and Verna (Keyster) Adair. She was the valedictorian of the 1956 graduating class at Davenport High School. For over 20 years she was an executive secretary at Nichols Aluminum. Pat was a Girl Scout leader, a member of the Black Hawk Hiking Club, the Plus60 Travel Club, and the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF). Her interests included traveling the world, spending time with grandchildren, attending plays and musicals, gardening, the outdoors and caring for all animals. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Deborah Otto, Christopher (Diana) Otto, Craig (Sarah Teller) Otto; stepchildren, Edward (Amy) Thompson, Brian Thompson; grandchildren, Jill Grimes, Ryan Kelly, Justin Overturf, Magan Gillespie-Lange, Chelcey Jacobsen, Ricky Thompson, Jeff Thompson, Sarah Weuve, Emma Thompson; brother, Gary (Sylvia) Adair.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Merlyn Thompson; stepson, Jeff Thompson and granddaughter, Gwen Lange.
