Patty Ann Tait, 92, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport. Services will be at Runge Mortuary on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory. She was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on April 22, 1933, the daughter of Harley Kinney and Roberta (Tinsley) Kinney Pearson.
Earlier in life she worked at the Polk County Courthouse in Des Moines where she met the love of her life, Willis. They married on March 27, 1955, in Ottumwa. They moved to the Quad Cities in 1969. He preceded her in death on March 7, 2006. She was a loving homemaker, but her family was most important to her. She loved them all dearly and always liked spending time with all of them. Patty was a long-time and faithful member of the former Harmony Hills Church, where she volunteered and sang in the choir for many years.
Those left to honor her memory, include her children: Lana (Kevin) O’Hara, Bettendorf; Karen Relf, Bettendorf; Donna (Tim) Hartman, Davenport grandchildren: Meagan (Al) Saberian, Brendan (Emily) O’Hara, Kellie (Nik) May, Allie (Shea) Pavlicek, Alex (Amanda) Betts, Joni (Tyler) Tuttle, Anna (John) Kelly Samantha (Caleb) Sayler, Ashley (Sam) Annis and Kara Jo (Lance) Forrest; 17 great-grandchildren, her faithful dog, Otis and sisters, Sandra Minard and Linda Gowdy, both of Waterloo, IA.
