Funeral services for Phyllis Young, 85, of Davenport, will be 11:00 am Saturday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Saturday from 10:00 am to service time at the Mortuary. Phyllis passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at her home in Davenport.Cunnick-Collins Mortuary assisting family with arrangements.Phyllis L. Mizer was born on July 23, 1927 in Eldridge, MO, the daughter of Ervin and Vernie (Bryant) Mizer. She married Delmar Young on October of 1941 in Eldridge, MO. He preceded her in death in 1992. She enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.Survivors include her daughters; Patricia Baker and Virginia & John Dailey, all of Davenport; son; Ronald & Cheryln Young of Blue Grass, Iowa, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters; Chris Keim of Atkinson,IL, Helen Holderfield of Moline, IL, June Knuth and Dottie Dickinson both of Davenport.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Kenneth Young, an infant daughter, one sister and two brothers.Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.Cunnick-Collins.com.
