Quinton James Sandry, 27, of LeClaire, Iowa; passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 3:30pm at Weerts Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1-3pm on Monday. Memorials in Quinton’s memory may be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue or to the family to establish a fund to help those suffering from substance abuse.
Quinton was born on May 22, 1993, the son of Jim and Kathleen Sandry. Quinton was employed at Material Control Systems in East Moline. He enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking, disc golf, off-road biking, video games, and listening to music. Quinton loved hanging out with his beloved cat Smokey. Quinton especially loved riding his dirt bike and was in the process of rebuilding it; he was looking forward to riding it in the spring.
Those left to honor his memory are his parents Jim and Kathleen; sisters Elena (Katie Cope) Sandry and Brianna (Nic) Phares; nephew Colton; grandparents Jerry Downs and Jim and Cherine Sandry; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his cat Smokey. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Judy Downs and his great-grandparents Orland and Christine Foulks, Grace Downs, and Leonard and Diane Kuhlman.
