Robert Eugene Ross

Robert "Bob" Ross, 90, passed away at his home of 63 years on January 20th, 2026. Bob was born on August 11, 1935 in Mystic Iowa, son of John Ross and Sadie (Cutler) Feldhahn. Our Dad endured lung cancer, COPD and CHF with quiet resilience. Memorials may be made to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. There will be no services at this time.

Our Dad married our lovely Mom Joyce (Wulf) Ross on October 2nd, 1955. She preceded him in death on August 5th, 2022. He worked at Oscar Mayer for 39 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed going to the casino and auctions.

Bob is survived by his children; Sherry Ross, Susan (Louis) Walker and David Ross; three grandchildren; Brandon (Sherri) Ulfig, Anna (Kevin) Walker-Ruffin and Kurt Ross; five great grandchildren; Kaylynn and Jada Ruffin; Tyler, Trevor and Torri Ulfig and one great-great grandson; Theo Ulfig; several nieces and nephews including "special" nieces and nephew Pam, Kathy and Tom Ross.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce of 66 years; his parents; infant daughter Gloria, sister and brother in law Delores (Darold) Telsrow; brother and sister in law John (Karen) Ross; brother LeRoy Feldhahn.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to his healthcare providers and nurses for their compassion and concern taking care of our Dad through the years.
