Roger L. Mincks, 63, of Davenport passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Visitation will be 5pm to 7pm on Monday, July 8, 2024 at the Runge Mortuary & Crematory. Funeral services will be 12:00pm Tuesday, July 9, 2024 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Memorials may be made to the family and please share condolences at www.rungemortuary.com.
Roger was born December 24, 1960 in Rock Island, IL to Doyle & Darlene (Cone) Mincks. He was united in marriage to Janet Robison on November 7, 2000. Roger had been employed at Genesis Systems as a lead technician.
Roger enjoyed the outdoors including fishing and deer hunting with his friends. His true love was racing and cars. He was a NASCAR fan following Jeff Gordon and more recently Chase Elliot, he collected hot wheels, and was passionate about his Ford Torino.
Survivors include his wife Janet Mincks, Davenport; 3 daughters Amber (Tim) Hill, Amie (Troy Buehl) Mincks, & Sarah (Richard) Young all of Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; parents Doyle & Darlene Mincks, Rock Island, Il; Sister Theresa Lund, Rock Island, IL; and brother Rodney Mincks, Oquawka, IL.
Roger was preceded in death by his grandmother Wanda Clark.
