Rose McLawhorn

Early morning of October 14, 2025, Rose McLawhorn, 77, left us to be with the Lord. She was born January 28, 1948 in Indiana. Rose worked many years in the Port Charlotte school district where she retired from in Florida. Rose enjoyed to travel from a cruise ship to just an every day drive, she had a love of music especially Elvis Presley. She was a huge lover of animals and even managed to accomplish her dream of swimming with a dolphin. Her greatest love was her children and grandchildren.

There will be a small family gathering to spread her ashes to her request, Followed by a private celebration of life. She was proceeded in death by her husband Raymond McLawhorn, Her parents Geraldine and Harry Koch, her brothers Pat, Fred, Danny and Phillip, and her sister Carrol. She is survived by her three children Fred(Diane)Koch, Mark Hull and Holly(Phillip)Stadel. Her grandchildren Sienna and Savannah Koch, Jacob and Matthew Hull, Jacob(Curstin)Smith, Sean Stovall(Destiny Byrd), Tyler Smith(Sydney Sours), Seth Richter, Christopher Stadel, Mackenzie Stadel, Kaylee Stadel. Her great grandchildren Trenity, Scarlette and Forrest.
