Ruth E. Gray, 95, of Davenport passed away Monday, June 16, 2014 in Davenport. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 20, 2014 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held from 9-10 am Friday at the mortuary. Private inurnment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Davenport First Baptist Church. Ruth was born in Moses Lake, Washington in 1919. In 1945, she was united in marriage to Gerald D. Gray. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors include her children: Linda (Tom) Beardsley, Tom Gray and Tim (Connie) Gray; grandchildren: Tracy, Jennifer, Chad, Sean, Monica (Cory) Capper, Melanie (Nathan) Stuhr, Mark, and Mackenzie; great grandchildren: Devon, Emilly, Eleanor, and Frederick; a brother and a sister. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
