Sandra Lea Hume

Sandy was born to Robert Russell and Margaret (Grams) on July 27, 1943. She married John Hume Jr. on July 31, 1965, in Rock Island, IL, and they shared over 60 years together, raising three children.

Sandy had a passion for puzzles, macrame, and painting. She enjoyed playing cards and watching "Days of Our Lives". Sandy loved watching hummingbirds outside her window and was known as a good cook. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she always made sure to have Dilly Bars stocked in the freezer for them.

Sandy is survived by her children, Richard (Karen) Hume, Heather (David) Gluba, and Michelle (Drake) Lassuy; her grandchildren, Brittany, Austin, Aubrey, Lauren, and Logan; great-grandchildren, Jared, Erica, Jaxon, Rayleigh, Watson, and Sade, and four siblings, Dolores, Joyce, Bob, and Chuck.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and three siblings, Larry, Lenora, and Roberta.
