Sandy was born on December 21, 1939, to parents Steve and Dorothy McCollam. She spent most of her career as a home care aid. She spent 38 years married to Fred Gealy before his passing in 2017. She later married David Simpson. The two spent 7 happy years together.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Dave Simpson; her son, Randy Timmerman; her brother, Mike McCollam; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded by her husband, Fred Gealy; her parents, and her son, Stephen Timmerman.
