Sherri Lynn Wells, 53, of Davenport, died Sunday, June 3, 2012 at Genesis West Medical Center. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Runge Mortuary. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family. Sherri was born April 7, 1959 in Davenport, the daughter of Paul Warn and Ruby (Stratton) Wells, Jr.. She was an avid sports fan especially enjoying softball, track, volleyball and basket ball; she also enjoyed gambling. Sherri was an avid Cubs and Bears fan.
Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Paul and Ruby, Davenport; siblings: Theresa Talbert, Davenport; Paula (Tom) Flaugh, Rock Island, IL; Paul (Velkys) Wells, III, Panama; Brian Wells, Davenport; her beloved cat, Spatz; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
