

She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends who were blessed by her kindness, generosity and infectious personality.
She was born on January 21st, 1945 to Arthur Tyler and Goldie Phillips in Prairie du Chein, Wisconsin.
Shirley grew up with a passion for nurturing and caring for others. She got married to the love of her life Paul N. Valerius on July 28th, 1962 and had three beautiful children. Shirley spent her life dedicated to her family always putting their needs before her own. Her love and devotion were evident in the countless hours she spent cooking, cleaning and caring for loved ones.
In addition to her family Shirley had two other great loves: her garden and her crafts. She spent hours tending to her flowers, herbs and vegetables. She took great pride in her ability to make something beautiful from the earth. Shirley was also a very talented crafter with the ability to sew, knit and quilt. She created beautiful pieces that will be treasured for generations.
Shirley was a woman of great strength and resilience, with a heart full of love and a spirit that inspired all who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her daughters Paula (Maurice) James, Patricia (Jeffrey) Vazquez and Pamela (Chris) Brown, her grandchildren Edda Valerius, Felicia (Leonalson) Pierre Louis, Amber Havenhill, Ashley Havenhill, Katelynn Brown, Jacob Brown and a host of great grandchildren.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Paul Valerius, sibling Pearl Tyler, Beverly (Lloyd) Felton, Robert (Bonnie) Tyler, Arthur, Bud (Aileen) Tyler, nephew Jerry Tyler, granddaughter Latoya Deshea Andrews and her parents Arthur and Goldie Tyler.
