Dear Steve, 
I'm sorry to hear of our loss.  Rest easy. I'll mourn your death but will also celebrate all the life you lived and brought to the rest of us.

What an incredible mind!  I always appreciated our conversations that went beyond the surface stuff.  You were smart and witty and had such a unique perspective.  I appreciated your point of view even when we didn't agree.  You made it easy to look at the world differently.

Steve, I will miss you so much, hell I already do!! You always made my day with your good mornings & your witty , sarcastic jokes & always had some kind of story to tell!! I'll never forget the last words you said to me, while walking away laughing! Rest easy my friend, until we meet again!! 

Thank you Steve for always taking care of us at the Bettendorf Police Department and providing us the best customer service to our officers! I always enjoyed our conversations when we would meet up as we always had a good laugh. I remember when you served on the Bettendorf School board with pride supporting the students, teachers, and administration. I will miss you Steve and our conversations as you were one of a kind. RIP my friend.

I went to college at WIU with Steve. He was one of the brightest students on our campus. He was fun to hang out with, serious about his studies, and great in debate as a student government senator. Just a great guy. Although we only kept in touch via Facebook after college, I was glad to see his occasional comment to me. Prayers and condolences to his family, loved ones, and friends.

Thanks for sharing you knowledge and experience. I will certainly cherish our chats about work, life and helping me with my Government class in college. Going to miss your wittiness and high fives after your jokes.

RIP, Steve.  Your sense of humor and wit were second to none.  People still talk about how hard you worked in the classroom and in the wrestling room.

Steve was a well loved employee. An asset to our company. He will be missed greatly.

The birthday twins is what we called it, since we share the same birth dates. Steve always gave me a count down to 11/29  by the month, weeks and days.  When Nov came he even had hours and minutes of count down, I would always say that I didn't need a reminder. 🤣  And he would even add that he was the youngest by two years.
