Thelma was born in Bakersfield, CA on October 31, 1946. She was the loving daughter of Clarence and Dorothie (Hulse) Crosby.
She worked as a secretary for Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company, and retired after nearly 30 years of service, in 2003.
She loved crafts of all kinds, especially crocheting, growing her numerous plants, reading and was a beloved animal lover. One of her favorite things to do is sit outside with her cup of coffee and enjoy her view of the Mississippi River.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons: Jason (Helen Garland) and his children: Ruben and Oliver; Josh (Sandra) and their children: Ness Watkins, Ivy, Violet and Corbin Hoffmaster; along with her beloved dogs, Moxxie and Dude and her cat, Peanut.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, HC Crosby.
