Theresa L. Maxwell

Theresa Wyont Maxwell, 56, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date in Bossier City, LA, where Theresa resided for most of her years. There will be no local visitation or service. Theresa was born June 27, 1955 in Houston, Texas. On April 27, 1986 she married Jerry Maxwell in Shreveport, LA. They were remarried on January 1, 2010 in Las Vegas, NV.

Theresa had been employed by Lee Enterprises prior to her retirement in 2010.

Theresa worked in the graphic arts business and some of her hobbies of which she enjoyed included singing with the Sweet Adelines for twenty years, and spending time with her nephews, niece as well as loving her dog, Tico.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jerry; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Mark Huse of Poland, Maine; niece, Hannah Huse; nephews; Tyler Huse, Phillip Renegar and Whitney, and grandniece Baileigh of Bossier City, LA; stepchildren, Jeff Maxwell and Sonya Maxwell; and grandchildren, Blake Maxwell, Trevor Warwick, Kelsey Rose Maxwell, Dakota Maxwell, Olivia Maxwell and Macy Maxwell all of Bossier City, LA; and aunt, Sherry Travis of Houston, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Delores White and brother, Jerry Charles White.
