Toni Marie Morton

Toni M. Morton, 39, of Davenport, IA, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Visitation will be November 27, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. A Memorial Service will follow at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, also at the Weerts Funeral Home. Toni was born October 13, 1982, to William Morton and Lisha Steiniger in Davenport, IA. She attended North High School. Toni worked at Steak and Shake for 10 years. In her free time, she enjoyed making all kinds of crafts – making tie blankets in particular.

Toni will be missed by her parents, William (Nealma) Morton, Lisha Steiniger and Timothy Steiniger; grandparents: Chuck (Gloria) Blackaby and Loretta Ahrens; her significant other, Marvin Bryson; children: Nathaniel Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Domanick Johnson, Antonio Johnson, and Kyarra Turner; siblings: Tami Morton, Jon (Kayla) Steiniger, Crystal (Travis) Livingston, Alexis Morton, Ashley Morton, Elaesha Morton, Tasha Morton, Brittany Steiniger (Bailey Appleby), Mercedes Morton, Joey Morton; and her nieces and nephews: Breonna Morton, Josephine Morton, Izziah Morton, Loretta Steiniger, Aaliyah Steiniger, Kingston Steiniger, Braeleigh Livingston, Xaiden Crawford, Meelah Crawford, Prestain Smith, Shelia Smith, Michael Smith, Cailynn Morton, Cailani Morton, Mikel Morton, Taliyah Morton, Brooklyn Morton, Evenlyn Morton, Addison Appleby, Sophia Morton, Kingston Morton, and Saniyah Morton.

She was preceded in death by her cousin, Justin Welch; grandfather Rod Byars, aunt Michelle Shanks; great grandpa and grandma Jergenson, grandparents Bud and Betty Baker; aunt Debbie Smith; uncle Elmer Phelps; nieces: Aaliyah Smith, Samiyah Morton, Taylor Crawford; grandparents Bob and Ruth Seefeld; and aunt Roberta Kadera; and many more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
