William J. “Bill” Healy, 72, of Eldridge, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center – East Campus. Following cremation, a visitation will be held Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Runge Mortuary. Private family inurnment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery. Mr. Healy was a graduate of Loras College. On July 8, 1977 he married Debra Jones in Las Vegas, NV. He was employed by Allied Construction prior to his retirement.
Bill was a former member of the Dixon American Legion and was an avid golfer. He enjoyed reading and watching old time movies.
Survivors include his wife, Debra; daughter and son-in-law, Tammi and Craig Holst; and three sisters, Judy (Tony) Henkels, June Ubersox and Jackie (Greg) Doser.
