Passed Away June 25, 2018. Bryan was born January 5, 1959 in Chewelah, WA to Arthur and Pauline (Pascal) Flett. He grew up on the West End of the Spokane Indian reservation and attended school and graduated from Columbia High School in Hunters, WA. Bryan was in the US Marine Corp as a communications teacher. Bryan was a hard worker and worked several construction jobs. Bryan was a member of the Spokane tribe of Indians, Wellpinit V.F.W. dedicated honor guard, STOI Lifeways Curriculum Committee (Tribal Traditions), Elders Advisory Committee on Language and Culture, Leader in Traditions and culture. Bryan enjoyed culture, was a singer and a drummer, loved all sports, Pow Wows, Hoopfest, spending time with family and his friends at Quest, enjoyed concerts and loved people and was a “Social Butterfly” and was always wanting to improve and inspire the tribal people. Bryan is survived by his two children Joshua Flett, Chad (Paige) Flett, three grandchildren Milla, Claiborn and Brooks. His mother Pauline Flett, three brothers Darryl Covington, Alan Covington and Monte Flett and three sisters Laura Brisbois, Nin Day, and Sheila Flett and numerous nieces and nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his father Arthur Flett, two brothers Arthur Flett Jr., John Flett and two sisters Patricia “Squirt” Hill and Chan Brisbois. A gathering will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 4:00 PM at the Hangman/Spokane Confluence, 2790 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the W.E. Community Center with Pat Moses, officiating. Burial will be held at the Pascal Cemetery.
