I am numb with the news of his passing and I send my deepest condolences to his family and friends. There are so many memories... Of course I can't find the picture right now, but I've always been touched by the time he and his family showed their support at my high school graduation by wearing Chuck Taylors (my favorite shoe). He inspired me to succeed far beyond expectation. Most of my fond memories from Odessa involve Mr. Holman. I think of him often.

My life is filled with many wonderful things made possible by Craig's mentorship. He taught me so much more than just music.

Thank you, Chief. I'll miss you and I hope to see you again.

Words cannot describe the impact he had on my life. Forever known as "Chief" to those of us who knew him well, he was both mentor and friend during our time in the Odessa music program and after. He helped me discover my love of music, and helped me develop the confidence within to become a soloist and performer.

I wish I'd seen you more in recent years...I love ya Chief. Thank you for everything.
