I was very sad to see the news of John' passing. I always enjoyed hearing from him when he would call in for parts for his tractor. May god comfort you in this time of healing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
John had become a friend over the years, first meeting him when he would come into DUW to buy feed 14 years ago. I'll miss his smile and jokes! Rest easy, John. Remember, it's not good bye, just so long for now!!

Cheryl, I’m so sorry for your and the family’s loss. I send my deepest condolences!!! John was my friend for most of my life. I had the honor of growing up with him and watching him grow into a fine young man. If he had any faults, I never witnessed them. Even though I didn’t see much of John in our adult lives, I saw what a great husband and Partner he was to Cheryl. May God watch over you and keep you well. Our loss is definitely heaven’ gain! RIP. Sweet Man. You made a difference!!!

Hey McLean Family❣️ When our grandparents, Jim & Betty Hanlon, started having us spend our summers at their place in Fruitland, it was the best thing that ever happened to us! I met one of my best friends, Janis, shortly after arriving. Then, shortly thereafter, while walking across the highway to your place, I saw John driving a tractor across the road. His beautiful smile & eyes are something I’ll never forget. I want to send you my condolences. I loved him & your whole family more than you’ll ever know! Please take care of yourselves❣️🧸😘💕

I am so sorry for your loss. John Bayne was one of the kindest people, I've ever met and I know the hole in your heart is huge. I also know your memories of him are bringing a smile to your face as well as tears.
Two favorite memories:
When the Carpenter fire was at the top of the mountain behind Newbill road
he led us up the mountain to the old Monitor mine site. While he marked dangerous areas for the firefighters to avoid, we got to spend time in the grove of cedars, one of my favorite places.
The other memory is John Bayne and John H. travelling the valley on their bikes as kids, and then to hear that they had taken up biking the valley again in their somewhat older years, makes me smile.
