Robert Wayne Jenkins, 55, of Davenport, Washington, passed away on June 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Robert was a man of strength, passion, and unwavering integrity whose presence filled every room he entered. He leaves behind a legacy of service, love, and devotion to family and community.
Robert dedicated his career to serving others. He worked in the IT department at Lincoln County Hospital and was an active member of the EMS, proudly serving as an ambulance driver. His work reflected his character, reliable, compassionate, and always willing to help.
Outside of work, Robert had a true zest for life. He loved riding motorcycles, cooking and smoking the best meats, and traveling with his family. His greatest joy came from supporting his three sons in all of their extracurricular activities. Whether entertaining friends, cheering from the sidelines, or firing up the grill, Robert created a home and life filled with warmth and laughter.
He was known for his big, bold personality, and even bigger heart. Fiercely loyal and loving, Robert stood firm in his beliefs, never afraid to speak his mind, yet always considerate and kind. His presence made others feel seen, heard, and loved.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Christine; his sons Blake, Cody, and Colton; his mother, Donna Jenkins Gauch; mother in laws Bonnie Warwick, Diana Freiday, brother A.J. (Donna); his brother-in-law Clif Warwick (Sabrina); sister-in-law Sara Mann (Shawn); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends. He is preceded in death by Bernard Jenkins SR, Bill Gauch, James Jenkins and Floyd Warwick.
A celebration of Robert’s life will be held on Thursday, June 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Davenport Middle School. All who knew and loved Robert are welcome to attend.
