Ham radio was his cherished hobby from childhood through adulthood. He was a talented photographer and artist (drawing). He loved traveling, hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, and looking at his many boxes of beautiful slides and photos. He was very active in serving at the former Grace Lutheran Church in Bowie, MD. Over his life, he taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and served in many church positions. He will be missed for his dry sense of humor, kindness, and willingness to help anyone whenever he could.
