Maria Antonia Jimenez, 88, of Apopka, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in Apopka, Florida. Her life was marked by love, strength, and a deep devotion to her family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished for generations.
Maria Antonia Jimenez was born on June 12, 1937, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to Ramon Acevedo and Ana Feliciano. She carried the warmth and resilience of her roots with her throughout her life, shaping the woman her family came to know and love.
Maria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alfredo Jimenez. Together, they built a life centered on family, love, and enduring commitment.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved. Maria helped raise her children, her two grandsons, and played a special and active role in the lives of her four great-grandchildren. Her home was a place of comfort, filled with the smell of home-cooked meals made with love and the beauty of her garden, which she tended with care.
Maria will be remembered for her loving nature, her beautiful heart, and the warmth she gave so freely to everyone around her. Her cooking brought people together, her laughter filled every room, and her love for her family was the center of her life.
Maria is survived by her children, Alfred, Richard, and Milagros; her grandchildren, Yvan and Richy; her great-grandchildren, Jaevan, Jadiel, Nicolas, and Joseph; and her brothers, Raymond and Joe. She also leaves behind many extended family members and loved ones who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.
Our family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support during this time as we come together to grieve, remember, and celebrate her beautiful life.
