Alice Marie Smiley, age 83, of Riverside, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. She was born August 29, 1935 in Norwood, Ohio to the late James O. Simmons and Sarah “Sally” (Adams) Williams. Alice was preceded in death by her loving husband, George S. Smiley, her son George “Frank” Smiley, and her brother James “Bill” Simmons. She is survived by her daughter Patsy (Sammy) Kiser of Riverside; grandchildren Kelly (Trevor) Thacker, Rose (Richie) Fulton, Jason (Shannon) Smiley, Samantha Kiser and Brian (Mandy) Smiley; great-grandchildren Jamie and Jacob Thacker, Kala Jaques, Trent and Mason Fulton, Kyndall, Gabby, and A.J. Youngerman, Hannah and Eva Smiley, and Ashton, Landon, and Raegan Smiley; and great great-grandchild Kayden Ginter. Alice loved her family, anything “Elvis,” and spending time working on crossword puzzles. Friends may call from 6-8 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2018 at Tobias Funeral Home, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd in Beavercreek, OH. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, January 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment to follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, 11890 N Dixie Dr, in Tipp City, OH.
