She married the love of her life, Austin “Gus” Tope in 1951; then went on to raise two children, Albert and Lou Ann, of whom she was very proud. She enjoyed bowling and playing poker in her spare time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin “Gus” Tope, who passed away in 2009; and her son, Albert Tope who passed away in 2007.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lou A. Evans of Xenia, Ohio; and two grandchildren, Shannon Green (Eric) of Chicago, IL and Dave Evans (Carol) of Beavercreek, OH.
A graveside service will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of Dayton.
