He served in the Navy during the Korean War and then went on to work at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in personnel for 26 years. He retired from Wright Patt in 1988.
Anthony is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol Jeanne Palumbo; three sons, Gregory, Steven, and David Palumbo; cousins Michael and Lois Chiacchiero and their children, Mike Jr., Dana, and Michelle, and Regina Ferberdino.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Altina Palumbo, and numerous extended family members.
There will be a funeral visitation at Tobias Funeral Home in Beavercreek on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm followed by military honors. A Latin Mass will be on Friday, January 31, 2025 at St. Luke Catholic Church at 10:30am. Burial at Calvary Cemetery will follow.
