Barbara Ann Durst

DURST, Barbara Ann (Troxler, of Lebanon Ohio, (Otterbein Retirement Community) passed away June 4, 2015. She was born June 29, 1929 in Muncie, Indiana to Anna Mae (Darnell) & Shad Troxler. Barbara received her BA from Ball State University and Masters of Education from Wright State University. She was a retired grade school teacher, from Kettering Public Schools, where she taught for over 30 years. Barbara is survived by her husband of 62 years (they were married December 28, 1952 in Yorktown, Indiana) Donald Durst of Lebanon, Ohio; a daughter, Gretchen (Durst) Jacobs and husband Mike of Dayton, Ohio; son, Greg Durst and wife Debbie of Indianapolis, Indiana; and grandchildren, Allison & Ben Durst of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jana Wendell of Dayton, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 12 noon Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the Otterbein Lebanon Retirement Community Chapel (Lebanon, Ohio) followed by a funeral service at 12 noon. Interment will be at Miami Valley memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio following the service.
