PFAFF, Barry L. Age 60 of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 27, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Eileen Pfaff and brother Paul Pfaff and sister-in-law Maria Pfaff. He is survived by his wife Lora Sebald, children Joshua David (Morgan Bryant) Pfaff and Jenna Marie (Brett) Godfrey, grandchildren Colton Pfaff, Bradley Godfrey, Sophia Bryant, and Owen Bryant, ex-wife Joni Pfaff, brothers Michael Pfaff, Ron (Nancy) Pfaff, sister-in-law Peggy Pfaff, Brother-in-law David Sebald, Sister-in-law Dianne Sebald, Nieces and nephews Sonja (Alvie Sisk) Pfaff-Sisk, Michelle (Luca Scotton) Pfaff, Alexandria (Enrico Luccon) Pfaff, Eileen (Andrea Gennaro) Pfaff, Ray (Nancy) Pfaff, Shelley (David) Geiger, Christina Richardson, Lisa Daggs, Stephanie Watt and Erin Pfaff. And by many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews with a special mention to great nephew JP Geiger whom he became close to while he was working in Dayton. And also a special mention to his wife’s extended family whose company he greatly enjoyed as well as his church family. Barry was a graduate of Wayne High School and a lifelong fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and a fan of sports in general with a special love of playing soccer in his youth. He worked in various aspects of the IT industry for the majority of his life, returning to college later in life to ultimately achieve a Master of Science in Cyber Security from Wright State University. He touched the lives of all he knew with a smile and a laugh and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Hawker United Church of Christ, 1617 N. Longview St., Beavercreek with Pastor David Williamson and Associate Pastor Bob Gambrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services on Friday, June 10.
