Beatrice Hope Sparrow age 76, of Xenia, Ohio passed away 09/18/2021. She was born on 08/15/1945 to parents George and Virginia (Alexander) Davison. She is survived by her husband Ronald Sparrow; children, Jamie Renne Sparrow-Simpson and her husband Matthew Simpson; grandchildren, Mya Hope Simpson, Allison Simpson, Aleah Simpson and Alexa Simpson; brothers, William (Bill) Davison, Ralph Davison and Rick Davison; sister Beverly Norquist; sister in laws Sharon Davison, Chris Davison, Pat Davison; brother in law Dave Norquist; nephews, Casey Norquist, Toby Norquist, Drew Davison, Jordan Davison and Jason Shapiro; nieces, Dawn Pickering and Roxann Hagler.
Beatrice was a wife, a mother, a nanny and a friend to most. To know her was to love her. Bea would be best described as a fierce individual with a heart of gold. Simply put, she would tell you what she thought and turn around and give you the shirt off her back. Bea loved five things most in life; God, her family, older people; boxer dogs and of course her antiques. Bea worked at Faith Community Church for 15 years serving God and Reverend Pope. Bea also loved her family and would often share memories of the past with her sister, brothers and her daughter Jamie. Bea cherished (in her own way) her time with her husband Ronald of 55 years (many stories to share- just ask him). In the past 13 years Bea (Nanny) found a new love that topped all, Mya Hope Simpson. Bea and Mya shared many commonalities such as their looks, their middle name, their love of cherry cordial ice cream and Esther Price chocolate. Bea loved older people for their wisdom and traditional way of thinking. She grew up with Boxer dogs, so she continued to have a soft spot in her heart for the breed. She was a collector of memories and would often share those with her friends at her shop, Olde Glory. She treasured the time she spent with her friends and the people she loved most. When you think of Bea, think about the good times you shared, tell the stories, and remember to be “Bea” giving.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you donate to a church of your choice or to an animal shelter or rescue.
