Volmer, Bernard George, age 75 of Dayton, formerly of Cincinnati, peacefully passed away with his family at his side at his home on March 12, 2020. He was born in Paris, France to the late George and Georgette Volmer. Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Pat (Grieshaber) Volmer, 4 children: Vicki (Tom) Rentz, Julie (Mike) Lakin, Janet (Tom) Bradley, and Tony (Amy) Volmer, and 7 grandchildren: Molly, Anthony, and Caroline Rentz, Taylor and Maria Bradley, and Lily and Trey Volmer. He is also survived by a brother, George Volmer, sister-in-law Janet Durham and her children Michael, John, and Wendy and their spouses, and numerous other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Bernie graduated from Purcell High School Class of ’63. He worked at NCR for over 40 years, and was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.
