Dear Linda, Rex & Gretchen, Jamie & Brian, Clayton&Avery, Dorothy, Bruce, Kirk, Lori and Families,
I am so very sorry to hear of Brian's illness and your loss of him.  Brian was always there for everyone who needed him or asked for his help.  He came to my rescue so many times.  He was a good man and never held a grudge against anyone.  He just wanted to be everyone's friend and always had a story to tell.  He was a good husband and father and I'm sure a great grandpa. He loved you all!! I once heard that you can tell a good man by the way he treats his mother ... Brian not only treated his mother, Dorothy,  with great respect and love, but also his dear mother-in-law, Gladys.  I guess that made him a "double-good" man. I will always think of Brian as a friend and neighbor I was glad to have.  I am so sorry for the sadness and loss you feel. I am praying for all of you ... that you may eventually find peace and comfort in your memories of him .. his love, his kindness and his huge giving heart.  I like to think that Brian is sharing is "stories" in heaven as I write this. May God grant you strength and bless you all. If you need anything, Linda, please call me or come visit. Love, Dianne

I was saddened to learn about the passing of Brian. I was a classmate of his in high school, have gone to some of the reunions and talked to him there and had a great time. Uncle Brian will be missed so much.  We shared a lot of laughter & great talks together. He always had my best interest at heart and always made sure to tell me how much he loved me. Others have said it: he never met a stranger.  Once in the 1980's when he hit the Oakland city limits while delivering an 18-wheeler across country, he called me out of the blue.  I later learned that he would stay in touch with high school classmates all over the U.S. by doing this.  We met up for breakfast, reminisced about friends and H.S. sports, while I watched him down 6-8 cups of really strong coffee.  That breakfast cemented the friendship for me, even though we only spoke occasionally over the years. What a big-hearted guy! My love and prayers to Linda and the family.

I feel such a loss by the passing of my older brother, Brian.  I also feel joy to have had him in my life.  At about 5 he taught me to play pool, left handed I might add, and at 51 he continued to teach me even more important life lessons. In his last days, he made it clear how important family and friends truly are.  Thank you , Brian , for all you have given me.  I will see you again, my friend! Your little sister, Lori.

It was so nice to get to speak to Brian and exchange emails about a year ago after 40 years of no contact. I will always remember visiting his parents home as a youngster and playing games. I have not seen Brian, Bruce or Kirk since high school days, but remember all as true gentlemen, and the "coolest" guys in town, although they didn't know it!  Brian will remain "forever young" and when I look at his photo, it seems like yesterday he was taking care of all of us at Green Acres swim club.  Rest in peace.

I knew Brian when I was much younger and then moved out of the state in my mid 20's.  I remember Brian and Linda getting married and Brian getting together with my husband to get life insurance. That was the last time I saw him but often thought of Brian and his great smile and sparkling eyes.  He could always bring a smile to your face.
