Carl Eugene Forbriger

Carl Forbriger December 30, 1917 – April 3, 2018; passed away on April 3, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bob and Bill, grandson Brett Rollman and his wife Marilouise. Survived by three daughters Judy Rollman, Theresa (Duke) Lunsford, Susan (Joe) Otten and 8 grandchildren, Scott (Tricia) Rollman, Matt (Tina) Rollman, Chris (Kyle) Rollman, Ryan (Kathryn) Rollman, Heather (Dean) McDonald, Amber (Joey) Garland, Dawn (Gary) Noe, Maghan (Mike) Philibin, 12 great-grandchildren Kendall, Evie, Alex, Ethan, Gabby, Cora, Isabelle, Riley, Reese, Brady, Brenna, Ava and numerous nieces and nephews. Carl was currently a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Kettering and was previously an active member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Dayton for several decades. Retired from Dayton Public Schools after 40 years teaching music primarily at Belmont Elementary School. After retirement Carl stayed active in music as a piano tuner. He and Marilouise traveled extensively in retirement. Visitation Saturday April 7, 2018 from 10:00 am until time of service at 12 noon at Christ United Methodist Church 3440 Shroyer Rd. Kettering, OH 45429. Interment, at David's Cemetery. Donations in Carl’s memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton 324 Wilmington Ave. Dayton, OH 45420.
