Carole Jean Larson, On the evening of May 24 2021 Carole passed away peacefully at Tradition’s of Beavercreek, after a year long battle with Alzheimer’s. Carole was 85 years old. She was born in Dayton, Oh on 10/17/1935 to Doris and Forrest Espy along with her sister Joan and brother Jerry. Carole was a daughter, sister, wife and mother. She volunteered at Greene Memorial Hospital in the gift shop and Hospice of Dayton for many years. She was an avid golfer and former member of Walnut Grove Country Club. Carole was active in Beavercreek Rotary hosting many exchange students over the years and was a Paul Harris Fellow. She was known for her quick wit and gregarious personality. She was preceded in death by father Forrest Espy, mother Doris Ross, sister Joan Harper and husband Charles M Larson. Carole is survived by her brother Jerry Espy and son Eric Larson, as well as her many friends. Services for Carole will be held Monday June 7 2021 at Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek from 10:00-11:30 AM. Donations to Hospice of Dayton in lieu of flowers.
