Cathy Sue Lager

LAGER, Cathy S. (Rausch) was born, June 2, 1951 and passed away, June 27, 2016. She graduated from Centerville High School, Eastern Kentucky University and earned a Master's Degree from Wright State University. She was an extremely dedicated Special Education teacher since 1973 in the Kettering, Ohio and Fairfax, Virginia school systems and retired in 2011 after 21 years in the Centerville, Ohio school system. She was also President of the Centerville Classroom Teachers' Association for many years. Cathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sara Elizabeth, husband Fred Lager, and father Robert Rausch. She is survived by her loving mother Jean Rausch; brother Michael Rausch (Marcia); niece Amy Bull (Art); great-niece Charlotte; great-nephew Arthur; nephew Andrew Rausch (Dawn); great-nephew Charlie; nephew Jonathan Rausch (Jamie); great-nephew Jack; Aunt Bernice Laub; cousins Steve Rausch (Christy); Terri Johnting (David); Dan Laub. Close friends Linda Bruggeman and Tom Zeno, Mindy Briddell (Eric) and Susan Serr (Bill). Also, many other cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Road, Dayton, Ohio 45429, from 11am Thursday, July 7, 2016 until time of service at 1 pm.
