Howell, Charlie, 74, of Riverside, passed away Saturday, October 20, 2012 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Doris E. Howell, his parents, brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son David Howell of Riverside; daughter and son-in-law Tammy and Blaine Allen of Huber Heights; grandchildren Amber and Alesha. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War in the US Army, retired from DAP Inc. with over 35 years of service, where he was president of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union. He also retired from Chrysler Corp. He enjoyed hunting and other outdoor activities. Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, October 25, 2012 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. Interment Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery.
