I'm heartbroken at the loss of Aunt Re. A truly fine lady. I think back and cherish her sweet smile, kindness and engaging conversation. Aunt Re's ideas, observations and actions struck me as the pinnacle of practicality and became something I have tried to emulate since childhood. She will be among my happiest thoughts forever.

Re and I attended UD together. She was such a sweet lady! I loved being in class with her. I graduated in 72 so I assume she did around the same time. My sympathy to your family! I often have thought about Re. She always comes to mind when I think of my days at UD.

Dean and I are thinking of you, Jim, and all the Duffins.
I have so many beautiful memories of Re but the standout for me is the annual picture around the Duffin Christmas table; Re standing at the head of the table just beaming, with all the kids and grandkids around her. I know you both cherished those moments!
Re will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I will miss her sweet voice, and gentle spirit. She was a blessing to us all and a perfect embodiment of Proverbs 31.

With much love and hugs across the miles,
Claire and Dean Goolsby

Jim and family,

I was so sad when I learned that Re passed away. I can still hear her voice now and it's been many years since I spoke with her. She was such a sweet person with a gentle soul and she always made me smile, as well as you Jim! You two were the perfect pair and I so enjoyed working with you both. Re will be missed by many and I'm so glad she was a part of my life. I still have the gift you gave us for Liam, now in Anna's room for her to enjoy, and I happened to look at the picture frame the night she passed. I didn't know she had died till the next day. God's way of telling me that she was home. God bless you all during this difficult time, especially you Jim. I know you took such wonderful care of her. Love and hugs!
