

PISUT, Mr. Clement Joseph of Beavercreek, passed to the Lord Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the age of 84. He was born May 18, 1932 in Jolliet, Illinois, the son of Mathias Pisut and Helen Pisut (nee Rohaj), who preceded him in death. Clem served his country with honor as a decorated Chief Master Sergeant and air traffic controller in the United States Air Force for 28 years. He met the love of his life, Marianne Sternberger, while he was stationed in Germany, and they were married on November 6, 1955. Their lifelong adventure together took them back and forth between Europe and various locations in the United States, eventually ending in Dayton, Ohio where they stayed to raise their family. Marianne preceded him in death after 55 joyful years of marriage. Clem is survived by only one of his nine siblings, Emery Pisut and his wife Rae. He will be sorely missed by his loving children David Pisut and his wife Michelle, Diane (Pisut) Lykins, Michael Pisut and his wife Jackie, Lisa (Pisut) Ebenroth and her husband Eric and Michelle (Pisut) Clark. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, Rachel Burd, Andrew Pisut, Joseph Greene, Daniel Pisut, Stephanie Green, Angela Hammond, Samantha Pisut, Nicholas Pisut, Stephen Pisut, Sara Ebenroth, Katie Lykins, Christina Ebenroth, Elisabeth Lykins, Alexander Ebenroth, Zachary Ebenroth, Samuel Clark, Chloe Clark and ten great-grandchildren Jocelyn Taylor, Cheyenne Huffman, Caden Greene, Stephen Hana, Tyler Greene, Annie Pisut, Theo Hana, Grace Pisut, Maddie Pisut, and Claire Pisut. His family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton - Xenia Road, Tuesday evening, May 24, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Friends are invited to pray the Rosary with his family Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 9:00 AM at the Tobias Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Helen's Catholic Church, 5080 Burkhardt Road, Dayton, Ohio with Fr. David Brinkmoeller as celebrant, and Clem’s nephew, Fr. Christopher Pisut, as co-celebrant. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. He was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all whose lives he touched. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
