Darlene Marie Cassell

Darlene Marie (Ferguson) Cassell, age 58, of Englewood, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born on January 25, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Russell H. Ferguson and Nancy C. (Hofele) Ferguson, who survives her.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her brother, David B. Ferguson and her infant sister, Mary Louise Ferguson.

Darlene is also survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Clarence Dean Cassell; her 4 children, Christopher Ferguson, Charity D. Cassell, Clarence Dean (Jessica Lynn) Cassell, II, Corey Den (Tayler L.) Cassell, Sr.; her sisters, Denise (Bob) Welsh, Dawn Ferguson and her brother, Darren Ferguson. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, David and Allison Ferguson, Emma Cassell and Corey Den Cassell, Jr., as well as her best friend, Charlotte Howser.

A visitation for Darlene will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tobias Funeral Home- Belmont Chapel, 648 Watervliet Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420.

If desired, the family suggests that contributions in memory of Darlene be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
