

David Grover Wheeler, born October 31, 1929 on Halloween, passed April 1, 2018 Easter Sunday. Born to George Washington Wheeler and Flossie Pearl (Davis) Wheeler in Ashland, Ky. He married Edna (Young) Wheeler December 11, 1953. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife, brother Lowell Wheeler, sister Trinnie Wheeler and daughter Sandra Sue (Young) Floyd. He is survived by his brothers; Danny Wheeler, Ray Wheeler, Claude Wheeler and sisters; Mildred McIntyre, Fay Kelley, Sharon Parker. Son, Dale Wheeler, daughter Beverly Dille (James). His 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. David was saved in 1964 at the Waterson Church in Irish Creek, Ky. A member of the Jake Rice Masonic Temple of Blaine, KY, a Kentucky Colonel, a lifelong fan of baseball, devoted Reds fan, avid beekeeper and gardener. Friends may call at the Tobias Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. on Friday evening, April 6, 2018 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Berean Baptist Temple, 2445 Trebein Rd. Fairborn, OH 45324 on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11 AM. Interment will be in Byron Cemetery.
