Sims, Delvin Paul, age 85 of Kettering, passed away peacefully at his home on December 9th. He was born on July 3, 1930 in Fort Wayne, IN and was a resident of Kettering for 55 years. He graduated from Central High School (Fort Wayne) in 1948, and Purdue University in 1960. He worked for the Duriron Co. as a mechanical engineer for many years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma (Raines) Sims. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Miriam (Schwartz) Sims, son Daniel and daughter Janet of Dayton, and Sister Virgiline Allmandinger of Auburn, IN.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 14th at 10:00 am at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave., Kettering, OH with services at 11:00 am.
