Donald L. Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Donald Leo 93, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus on Oct.28, 2022. Born September 8, 1929 in Dayton, Donald graduated from Patterson Co-op in 1947. Donald spent his life living and raising his family in the Dayton area with his wife Doris L. Schneider of over 71 years. As a longtime member of Fairhaven C&MA Church of Centerville, he enjoyed serving as an usher for over 35 years, as well as serving as a Trustee. Don was an avid tennis player and enjoyed playing tennis up until his early 80’s. Don is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris L. Schneider, his loving parents Lena and Leo Schneider and his siblings Jean Weihrauch and Kenneth Schneider. Survived by his four children Susan Kay Bennett (Kevin), Steven Michael Schneider (Lesa), Beth Anne Callahan (Bill Taggart) and Patricia Lynne Villers (Guy); 14 grandchildren and 9 great-granchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews; and many others. Celebration of Life Service for Donald will be held November 5, 2022 at Fairhaven C&MA Church, 637 E. Whipp Rd. Centerville, Ohio. Visitation begins at 11, service at 12 pm.
