Donna Mae Wiseman, age 76 passed away at Hospice of Dayton on August 6, 2023. She was born June 17, 1947 to parents Raymond T. and Iris D. Wiseman who preceded her in death. She is survived by a brother, Kent Wiseman and a nephew, Joshua Shane Wiseman. She is survived by many dear friends.
Donna lived life fully! She especially loved to play golf, but not in the rain! She maintained her membership in the Community Women’s Golf Association until her death. Many members benefited from Donna’s advice and extra golf clubs!
Always generous, Donna donated to many charities and individual’s in need. She had a caring heart and a giving soul.
She loved to travel; visiting Africa, Europe, Great Britain, Ireland and many of the National Parks in the U.S. Always a meticulous planner, she left no stone unturned in orchestrating the perfect trip for everyone involved.
She worked most of her adult life for N.C.R. of Dayton as an Investment Services Manager, retiring in 2010 when N.C.R. moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
An excellent cook, crafter and seamstress, Donna could always be counted on to mend or create something special. Her Christmas fruitcake was always eagerly awaited by her lucky friends. Her favorite saying was, “Let’s think about this…..”
Donna died the way she lived; with courage, strength and grace which is best expressed by the words from Scripture in the letter of 2 Timothy 4:7-8: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
In true Donna practical fashion, her wishes were for no services. “To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure” (J.K. Rowling).
