Dorothy J. "Dee" Burger

BURGER, Dorothy J. “Dee”, age 78 of Kettering, Ohio died peacefully Wednesday, July 31, 2013, with her daughter at her side after a 21 year battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Dee was born April 27, 1935 to the late Rose Reinschreiber and Vincent Reinagle. Dee grew up in the town of Tiltonsville, Ohio near Steubenville and graduated from Mingo High School in 1954. She was an office manager for Duberstein Iron and Scrap Dealers/Commercial Metals. Dee enjoyed music, arts and crafts, kids and dogs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. “Dick” Burger on January 29, 2011, a nephew, Sean Anderson, two brothers-in-law, Damon Smith and Eric Anderson, and two sisters-in-law, Betty and Jane Burger. Dee is survived by her daughter, Jenny L. Burger, of Kettering, Ohio; two sisters, Mae Reinagle of Centerville and Cheryl Anderson of Beavercreek, a sister-in-law, Carol Smith of Centerville, and two brothers-in-law, Ralph and Frank Burger of Kettering. Dee was aunt to Scott and Amanda Anderson, Carlene (Frank) Plescia, Brad Smith, and great aunt to Nick and Anthony Plescia. Funeral service 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45429. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
