Dortha Neoma Gastineau

Gastineau, Dortha Neoma nee Maples age 93 of Beavercreek passed away on Sunday August 16, 2015. She was born January 19, 1922 in Knoxville, Tennesse. Dortha was a lifelong member of Greenmont-Oak Park Church in Kettering. She was instrumental in starting and serving as both teacher and first administrator of the Greenmont-Oak Park Church nursery school. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Gastineau; parents, Lee Roy Sr. and Dica (Breeden) Maples; brother, Lee Roy, Jr. and sister, Elizabeth Ann Gregorio. Survivors include her son, Robert L. (Joan) Gastineau and daughter, Joyce Ann (Bing) Seitz; Grandchildren, Jeana, Emily, and Jeff Gastineau, Bret (Rebecca) and Melissa Seitz and great-granddaughter, Zevah Seitz; Brothers, Robert and William Maples; Sisters, Mildred Hoke, Frances Davis, Mary Jo Brocket and Patsy Floyd; many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service 10 am Saturday August 22, 2015 Greenmont-Oak Park Church 1921 Woodman Dr. Kettering, Ohio 45420. Rev. Gabriel Oberholzer officiating. Interment in David’s Cemetery.
