When Drew worked at DAP, my father bought parts there regularly for his business. I was in college at the timing studying in Dayton so I stopped in to pick up parts at least once sometimes twice a week. Drew always made sure to take care of me at the service counter, he liked my dad a lot and soon grew found of me as well. Then he found out that I am a musician and do a close bond grew. I moved to Dayton in 2003 just a few blocks from him. I spent a lot of time at his house jamming in the basement trying to create good music. We even  made a few fishing trips to Indian Lake together. He grew close to Jesus while we lived near him and I attended a Bible Study with him that was a held by a coworker from the church he attended. My greatest memory of Drew was talking about how to tweak our songs and get the sound just right and how to get everything tight and polished even if no one ever heard it. He never judged me and I don’t remember him ever saying anything negative about other people. I eventually moved back to Darke County and life pulled me away from time spent together but I always knew he would laugh at a joke on Facebook or text a picture of a guitar he liked. He was just what I needed when I moved away from home and didn’t know anybody, being friends with Drew was like “being at home”.

whenever i would do open mic at several places Drew would show up and play whatever he could mostly drums he was a real talened drummer and a great guy and friend he will be missed!! RIP Drew thanks JJ

Drew and I were best friends in the 70s, after a friend of mine named Brian introduced me to Drew in grade school and all three of us were within a block of each other and were drummers.  Drew let me practice on his kit for years before my dad finally bought me a kit.  I still play semi-professionally and owe it all to his and Brian's generosity!  
We spent a lot of time together and no matter how bad I was feeling Drew was able to make me laugh.  He had a way about him that would bring out the best in me and others.  When going to a party he would light up the room.  
Thank the good Lord for getting us through some tough learning experiences without permanent  damage especially during the Disco craze and some of the close calls we had in his Chevy Chevelle SS which was his baby until it met it's demise.  
Unfortunately I lost touch with him (as most of my friends) when I moved to California in 1978.  The last time we spoke was when he sent me his single (Picture attached) Over Tree tops.  I just played that not long ago and remembered all the crazy times.   I just now played it again in his honor.
May the good Lord Jesus keep him comfortable until we meet again.

I met Drew at a club on Dorothy Lane in Kettering around 1984 so I've know him for around 37 years.  I considered Drew one of my best friends. We both loved going to the thrift stores, antiquing, ghost hunting, sasquatch hikes and alien stories. He had the  silliest personality and could make me laugh all the time.  I remember he had the kindest heart and loved to go to Youngs dairy for hours to just pet and talk to the goats, which perplexed the farmers there.  He loved all animals and the outdoors.   I can't even grasp that he is gone.  I feel broken hearted with his absence, but I know because of his giving and pure heart he is with our lord and savior. May God bless him and give strength and comfort to his loved ones.

I met Drew at the Stowaway Lounge in the early 2000's.  He was always funny and literally could talk to anyone.  He would walk in saying "clean up on aisle" and then whatever number he chose.  We would talk about camping and boating at Indian Lake and watching Nascar.  He never understood cars going around and around but he gave it a try and came to one of my Nascar parties.  God bless you Drew.  

He was a great guy always caring for people his family especially I know he isn’t suffering anymore and up there with his mom and dad rip  you will always be loved and missed by everyone 

Drew is a dear friend and faithful co-laborer in our church’s greeting ministry.  He was friendly, welcoming and always quick to serve.  I cherished him dearly during those years of ministry together.  I expect him to be one of the first that greets me in Heaven.  Looking forward to that great reunion of the Saints in Christ Jesus.  Amen!
