Drew Catanzaro was born April 2nd, 1960 in Springfield, Ohio. From an early age, he showed a love for music and drumming by tapping spoons on the sleeves of Beatles records on the floor of his parents’ living room. That passion continued for the rest of his life, forming several bands throughout grade school, until his graduation from Belmont High School. It was then that he became the drummer for the most notable of his bands, The Pulse, which toured around Ohio, neighboring states, and cemented the legacy of his music that will live on forever.
Drew was known as a kind and talkative soul, able to hold conversations with anyone and everyone he met. His kindness translated into a love for animals and wildlife, owning several cats and going on hunts for the ever elusive Sasquatch.
He was called home into the comforting arms of Jesus on September 16th, 2021 at the age of 61. He is survived by his three sons, Sam, Lucas and Lee, his Sister Dana, brother-in-law Scott, and his Nephew Ryan, as well as his many friends throughout the Dayton community. He rests in peace, soaring “Over Treetops.” Copy and Paste to Your Browser - https://youtu.be/Gwwg15OJN9U
