

Edward George Kozlowski, 73, of Beavercreek, Ohio, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Born in 1944 to the late Edward Kozlowski and Helen Susan Graves Kozlowski, Edward graduated from North Arlington High School, Rutgers University, and attended the National War College in Washington, D.C. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and reserves and earned the rank of Colonel. He was married to the late Janet E. Miller Kozlowski (1946-2016) for nearly 50 years.
Edward was the quintessential life-long learner. He was curious about the world and unrelenting in his search for knowledge and intellectual growth. He was a doting husband who loved to share in his wife’s passions and hobbies. The couple traveled extensively, actively participated in Dayton’s fine arts organizations, and supported local charities.
Ed is survived by his brother, Thomas Kozlowski and his wife, Diane, of Brick, NJ; his brother, Robert and his wife, Diane, of Point Pleasant, NJ; his sister-in-law, Kathleen Miller Martin and husband, Robert Martin of Allentown, PA; two nieces, Jenifer Gilio her husband, Marc and Katherine Burd and her husband, Joseph; two nephews, Andrew Kozlowski and his wife, Christina, and Daniel Kozlowski and his wife, Kristen, as well as five great nephews and nieces Samuel, Nathaniel, Evan, Adam, and Maude. Ed’s brilliant mind and sharp wit will be missed by a large extended family and friends.
