He was a member of the management team at J.C. Penny for many years.
Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Ocie Stephens, parents, Riley and Opal Stephens; and by a son-in-law, Donald Shearer.
He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Shearer; son, Barry (Stephanie) Stephens; seven grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Fairhaven Church, 639 Whipp Road. Funeral services will follow immediately beginning at 11:00 am
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Edward's memory may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
Edward will be laid to rest in Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville, Ohio.
